Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Media Metrics is a trading name operated by Conor, based in the United Kingdom. We take the privacy of everyone who interacts with our website seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
If you have any questions, contact us at hello@mediametrics.co.uk.
1. Who we are
Data controller: Media Metrics.
Contact: hello@mediametrics.co.uk
Jurisdiction: United Kingdom (UK GDPR applies)
2. What data we collect and why
Enquiry form data
When you submit an enquiry via the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, company name, and the message you provide. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry.
Google Fonts
This website loads fonts from Google's CDN (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests a font file, Google may log your IP address and browser user-agent as part of standard server logging. We do not control this data. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
Advertising tags (where active)
Where we run paid advertising campaigns, we may use the following third-party tracking technologies on this site:
- Google Ads tag — used for conversion tracking and remarketing. Google may set cookies on your device to associate your visit with ad interactions. See Google's privacy policy.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — used for conversion tracking and to build LinkedIn-targeted audiences. LinkedIn may set cookies linked to your LinkedIn profile if you are logged in. See LinkedIn's privacy policy.
- Meta Pixel — used for conversion tracking and retargeting via Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Meta may associate your visit with your Meta account. See Meta's privacy policy.
These tags are only active on the site where advertising campaigns are running. No advertising data is sold or shared with parties other than the respective ad platforms.
We do not collect any special category data (health, financial, political views, etc.) and we do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.
3. Lawful basis for processing
For enquiry form submissions, our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We have a legitimate interest in receiving and responding to business enquiries, and this processing does not override your rights — you contact us voluntarily to request information.
For advertising tracking (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta), our lawful basis is consent where required, and legitimate interests for business-to-business marketing measurement. We will implement a cookie consent mechanism prior to activating any advertising tags.
4. How data is stored
Enquiry form data is processed and stored by Tally (tally.so), a third-party form platform. Data submitted through the form is held on Tally's servers. Tally's privacy policy is available at tally.so/help/privacy-policy.
We access submitted enquiries via the Tally dashboard. We do not operate our own database or CRM for storing contact data.
5. How long we keep your data
Enquiry data is retained for 12 months from the date of submission. After this period, submissions are deleted from the Tally dashboard. If an enquiry results in an active business relationship, data relevant to that relationship may be retained for the duration of the engagement and for a further period as required by law or legitimate business need.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data where there is no legitimate reason to continue holding it.
- Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to restriction — you can ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@mediametrics.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge for making a request.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Third-party sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above (Tally, Google, LinkedIn, Meta) to the extent necessary to operate this website and run advertising campaigns.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
